Introduction to Xingtai Yunmeng Mountain The main peak of Yunmeng Mountain stands over 1,300 meters above sea level, with a touring area of 25 square kilometers and a vegetation coverage rate of 95%. The forest is home to over a hundred species of rare animals. Upon entering the scenic area, it feels as if you’ve stepped into a large teapot — surrounded by steep, rugged cliffs with red walls and emerald ridges, and a round sky overhead that feels mysterious and otherworldly, hence the name “Pot Sky Fairyland.” Yunmeng Mountain is praised as the “Jiuzhaigou of the North,” and its most remarkable features are its Nine Pools and Eighteen Waterfalls. You can explore attractions such as Longyin Gorge, Town Dragon Rock, Soaring Eagle Waterfall, Five Zen Caves, Upper Pot Sky, Lower Pot Sky, Bailong Stream, Attached Red Cliff, Warm Green Slope, Circling Hinoki Trees, Crowded Secluded Stream, Flowing Dragon Waterfall, Longyin Waterfall, Shibei Waterfall, Immortal Path, Red Millstone, Immortal Footprints, and Scripture-Preaching Cave.
