The China Zhuangyuan Culture Museum in Qufu displays nearly a thousand precious cultural relics across an exhibition area of over one thousand square meters. It consists of four exhibition halls: the “Fragrance of Plum Blossoms Comes from Bitter Cold” hall showcases the arduous imperial examination journey of the Zhuangyuans; the “All the Flowers in Chang’an in a Day” hall presents their rich cultural life; the “Confucius, the Eternal Master of Zhuangyuans” hall showcases the inheritance of Zhuangyuan culture to national culture; the “Flying into Ordinary Homes” hall demonstrates the influence of Zhuangyuan culture on folk customs and traditions.

The China Zhuangyuan Culture Museum houses a large number of precious cultural relics that bear witness to and recreate this unforgettable chapter of history—the imperial examination system. In recent years, the state has strongly advocated for the promotion of outstanding traditional culture. Inspired by this, the China Zhuangyuan Culture Museum, themed around “Success in the Imperial Examination,” was established.

The China Zhuangyuan Culture Museum takes visitors through a time tunnel, immersing them in a vast expanse of culture, witnessing the inheritance of education, and touching the pulse of the times. Visitors can also pray to the Kuixing Star, worship Wenchang, leap through the Dragon Gate, and stand at the Ao Head—learning while touring, practicing while admiring, remembering while being entertained, and reflecting while having fun.

By Bus:

1. Take Bus 1 and get off at Guloumen Station;

2. Take Bus 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10, get off at Qufu Old Bus Station, walk north along South Gulou Street for 6 minutes to reach the museum;

By Car:

Jining to the scenic spot: G327 – Roundabout – drive 70 meters, take the second exit and go straight – South Ring Road – Zhongyubridge South Road – Roundabout – G327 – Guidei South Road – Guidei North Road – Tianguan Di Street – Houzuo Street – Destination

20 RMB per person;

Free admission with a combined ticket for the Three Confucian Sites
