From August 13 to 14, the Shandong Provincial Government, in collaboration with the Headquarters of the Confucius Institute, will host the “Exploring the Source of Chinese Wisdom – The First Global Confucius Institute Shandong Cultural Tourism Promotion Summit” in Qufu, the hometown of Confucius.
It is reported that the summit will invite foreign deans of overseas Confucius Institutes, international travel agents, key domestic travel agencies, and other guests. Experts from various fields will jointly discuss the role of cultural tourism in promoting the Chinese language and help foster the emergence of a new model combining culture and tourism.
