Junzhai Mountain

Located 2 km west of Shamao Mountain, it has an elevation of 1103 m. The summit is flat, covering about 10,000 m², and is surrounded by steep cliffs on all sides, with only one small path leading to the top. There are several remnants of houses as well as historical household items such as stone mills and grinding stones. Legend has it that during the late Tang Dynasty, some rebel forces of the Huang Chao Uprising once stayed here. Hence the name “Junzhai Mountain” (Military Camp Mountain).
