The Poli Site

The Poli Site is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.

The Poli Site

(1) Location: North of Poli Village, Shimen Mountain Town, Qufu City.

(2) Protected area: With the central coordinate point (latitude 35°45’13.6", longitude 117°03’46.5") as the center, extending 150 meters east and west, and 120 meters south and north.

(3) Construction control zone: 100 meters beyond the protected area on all sides.

Shimen Mountain Town: Located in the northeast of Qufu City, bordered by Tai'an to the north and Sishui to the east, Shimen Mountain Town covers a total area of 84.2 square kilometers. It governs 54 natural villages and 35 administrative villages, with a total population of 48,000.

The northern part is mainly mountainous and hilly, with continuous ranges suitable for forestry, fruit cultivation, and animal husbandry. The southern region features flat terrain and fertile soil, ideal for growing grain and cash crops.

In recent years, the town’s Party committee and government have earnestly implemented the guidelines and policies of the central government.
