Qufu Wenchang Shrine is a cultural relic protection unit under the jurisdiction of Jining City.

(1) Location: Southeast corner of the Ming Dynasty Old City, Lucheng Subdistrict, Qufu City.

(2) Protected area: The structure itself and a 30-meter radius beyond the surrounding wall.

(3) Construction control zone: A 100-meter radius beyond the protected area.

Lucheng Subdistrict: Lucheng Subdistrict is located within the Ming Dynasty Old City of Qufu City, Shandong Province, and serves as the site of the Qufu Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government. It covers an area of 28.3 square kilometers, administers 26 villages (communities), has 9,760 households, and a population of 28,622. There are currently 112 grassroots Party organizations, including 1 village-level Party committee (Nan Chi Committee), 14 Party general branches, and 97 Party branches, with 1,964 Party members.
