HuluTao Folk Custom Scenic Area

HuluTao Folk Custom Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

HuluTao Folk Village is located in Longweizhuang Village, Wucun Town, set within the scenic Jiuxian Mountain area. With 806 households and 1,820 residents, the village has 1,970 mu of cultivated land and 20,000 mu of forested hills. Nestled between mountains and water, it features stunning landscapes and rich tourism resources. Over time, various leisure and entertainment projects have been established here, such as HuluTao Folk Village, Happy Forward Challenge Real-Scene Base, Sacred Mountain Elderly Resort Center, and Confucius Mansion Tea Garden. It has become a comprehensive leisure tourism destination integrating eco-tourism, fruit picking, agricultural sightseeing, and farmhouse dining.

Relying on its pristine ecological resources and well-preserved ancient village structures, and leveraging its profound cultural heritage, HuluTao Folk Village has planned and developed areas for sightseeing, leisure, and fruit picking; folk residence experiences; mountain landscape entertainment; fishing and water play; as well as dining and accommodation. To date, over 10 million yuan has been invested in the project, resulting in the construction of 80 traditional courtyard houses and 300 preserved or replica ancient buildings. The development also includes a leisure street, cultural street, food street, resort cottages, folk performance hall, self-picking garden, viewing pavilions, and mountain landscape features. More than 10,000 square meters of flagstone paths have been laid, along with a 2,000-meter village water system and a 140-meter-long Hulu Corridor. Additionally, 2,000 meters of electrical wiring have been installed, and a new 3,000-cubic-meter Hulu Lake with a dam has been constructed. Facilities such as a pancake workshop, embroidery workshop, sesame oil workshop, and Hulu painting studio are now open to visitors. Based around the folk village, two distinctive rural tourism routes have been developed: a half-day Mountain & Water Folklore Tour and a one-day Mountain & Water Folklore Experience Tour.
