Former Site of Zhongxing Coal Mine Company

The former site of Zhongxing Coal Mine Company is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Huade Zhongxing Coal Mine Company was located at the Mining Area Subdistrict Office, Shizhong District, Zaozhuang City. It dates back to 1899. On December 7, 2006, the Huade Zhongxing Coal Mine Company was designated as part of the third batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

On October 7, 2019, the former site of Zhongxing Coal Mine Company was included in the eighth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Introduction

The Mining Area Subdistrict was established in May 1984. It is located in the northern part of the urban area of Shizhong District, Zaozhuang City. To the east, it borders Guangming Road Subdistrict via Tiantun; to the west, it neighbors Longshan Subdistrict Office; to the north, it adjoins Qicun Town; and to the south, it connects with Zhongxin Street Subdistrict along Beima Road. The subdistrict covers an area of 2.56 square kilometers, with 10,482 households and a total population of over 30,000. It governs seven community residents' committees and hosts ten enterprises and institutions, including Zaozhuang Mining Group New Zhongxing Company, Zaozhuang Mining Group New Yuanda Company, and Zaozhuang Zhongneng Thermal Power Company...
