Skull Pagoda

The Skull Pagoda is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.

The Skull Pagoda is located in Zhongxinjie Subdistrict, Shizhong District, Zaozhuang City, and dates back to 1911.

On October 10, 2013, the Skull Pagoda was designated as part of the fourth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Zhongxinjie Subdistrict: The Office of Zhongxinjie Subdistrict, Shizhong District, Zaozhuang City, is situated in the city’s most bustling commercial center and also lies within Zaozhuang’s old town area. It was formerly known as Zaozhuang Town, a township under the jurisdiction of Zaozhuang City. The subdistrict stretches from Kuiziling in the east, bordering Tianton, to Zhenxing Road in the west; from Beima Road in the north to Xing’an Street in the south. Its administrative office is located at No. 86 Shengli Road, covering a total area of 5.78 square kilometers. It governs 15 communities with a total of 11,093 resident households and a population of 38,961.
