Tianti Mountain Scenic Area

Tianti Mountain Scenic Area is located in Dongniuzhuang, west of Xingtai City, 22 kilometers from the city center, covering an area of 18 square kilometers. The mountain here rises abruptly, majestic and precipitous, with over a thousand stone steps stretching all the way to the sky.

When visitors reach the summit at Longevity Peak, they are greeted by a panoramic view of surrounding mountains, clearly visible villages, picturesque farmland, and the vast expanse of Chuan Kou Lake — a truly refreshing and uplifting sight. In the western part of the scenic area, the Cold Wind Cave is a marvel unmatched anywhere else, the Sword Gorge features cliffs as sheer as if cut by a knife, and the Black Dragon Pool is cool and deep green, offering a wild and serene charm.

What makes this place especially unique is that it is the hometown of Niu Gao, a renowned anti-Jin general. The great General Niu once relied on the rugged terrain here to lead resistance against the Jin invaders. To this day, relics can still be found halfway up the mountain. Additionally, many beautiful and moving folk tales have been passed down through generations.
