Snake Enclosure Pond

In the north inside the east gate of the county town, to the west of Sanlongkou, there was an ancient pond said to be where Emperor Shun dispatched Dongfu to raise dragons. The dragons raised by Dongfu were likely pythons. Because their appearance resembled the legendary dragons, they were called dragons, and the pond was thus named Dragon Pond. Around the Dragon Ground, many twisted and winding dragon-headed willow trees were planted. The tree shadows in the pond undulated with the ripples, resembling swimming dragons, which was truly breathtaking.
