Liuzhuang Gudui Site

The Liuzhuang Gudui Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Liuzhuang Gudui Site is located in Zhangwan Town, Dingtao County, dating back to the Neolithic Age, Shang, Zhou, and Han dynasties.

On June 23, 2015, the Liuzhuang Gudui Site was designated as part of the fifth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Zhangwan Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Dingtao County. In 1958, Xincun Commune was established; in 1979, 16 brigades with a total of 46 natural villages in the eastern part were separated to form Libentun Commune; in 1984, it was changed to Zhangwan Township; and in December 1995, it became Zhangwan Town. Located in the western part of the county, the town has the Dongyu River in the south and the Zhaowang River in the west. It covers an area of 34.5 square kilometers with a population of 26,000. Major roads include the Liu(kou)-Min(quan) Highway and the Ding(tao)-Huang(ji) Highway, which intersect throughout the area.
