Qinwang Lake Scenic Area is located in the western mountainous region of Shahe City, about 40 kilometers from the urban area, 60 kilometers from Handan City, and 50 kilometers from Xingtai City.

The scenic area was rated as a provincial-level scenic spot by the province in 1991. It is a mountainous natural scenic area that primarily showcases the beauty of lakes and mountains, interspersed with cultural and historical sites. Its landscape encompasses the grandeur, uniqueness, danger, and serenity of the mountains. The vast mountain ranges, stretching continuously over a hundred li, stand majestically and ruggedly, presenting a variety of vivid and dynamic forms. Towering peaks pierce the sky, layered ridges crisscross the land with perilous paths clinging to cliffs. Deep valleys and ancient gullies hide tranquil pools and flowing springs. The area’s mountains, rocks, valleys, cliffs, lakes, ponds, springs, caves, and trees all possess unique and distinctive features.

Chanfang Township: Chanfang Township is located in the deep mountainous region of the Taihang Mountains in southern Hebei, under the jurisdiction of Shahe City, Hebei Province. It lies 60 kilometers from the city center, with Provincial Highway 329 and Provincial Highway 202 passing through the area. The township covers a total area of 168 square kilometers, comprising 35 administrative villages and 168 natural hamlets, with 4,518 households and a population of 17,139. To date, it has developed a total of 100,000 mu of various dry and fresh fruit forests, 100,000 mu of national ecological forest, and 20,000 mu of pristine pine forests.
