Shahe Xin Watermelon is a geographical indication agricultural product.

　　The northern part of Xindian Town is located in the old course of the Yellow River and features typical sandy loam soil with an organic matter content of over 0.8%. The villages around Shahe Xin Village in the town have a long history of watermelon cultivation. The cultivated "Shahe Xin Watermelon" is large, has thin skin, and contains higher levels of vitamins and minerals than ordinary watermelons. It is not only a refreshing treat for local residents but is also sold to more than 60 cities including Beijing and Shanghai.
