Hengli Manor

Hengli Manor is located to the west of Shahe City, Xingtai, Hebei Province, at the eastern foothills of the Taihang Mountains, about 25 kilometers from National Highway 107 and the Beijing–Guangzhou Railway. The estate features a hilly terrain. It has now developed a scientifically planned layout centered around three functional zones: an industrial zone led by Hengli Group Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a living zone centered on Hengli Manor, and an ecological zone centered on a 10,000-mu ginkgo plantation.

It not only preserves the distinctive characteristics of traditional rural residences, improving the quality of life and health of all villagers, but also promotes the protection of the surrounding ecological environment and stimulates local economic development. Five major effects — ecological environment, local economy, scientific and technological content, sustainable growth, and comprehensive social benefits — are demonstrating great potential. In addition, the manor has planted over 10,000 ornamental trees, including more than 10 species such as persimmon, cypress, chestnut, red maple, smoketree, Chinese prickly ash, pine, and jujube, which ensure flowers in three seasons and greenery all year round. In November 2003, Shahe City’s Hengli Manor was awarded the “China Habitat Environment Example Award.”
