The area features lush mountains, clear waters, a pleasant climate, and a superior ecological environment, where various precious birds and animals (such as pheasants, wild rabbits, wild boars, porcupines, jackals, leopards, monkeys, roe deer, deer, foxes, five-step snakes, cobras, and pangolins) inhabit the mountains and can be seen everywhere. The long-established and widely renowned Baiyun Temple is situated in the basin at the summit of Lotus Mountain, surrounded by five gently rising peaks that resemble the five petals of a lotus flower. This setting embodies Buddhist culture within the natural landscape, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Buddhist heritage while exploring. Well-preserved residential buildings featuring distinctive Jiangxi architectural styles, as well as the ancient houses of Jiuliu Village, offer unique local characteristics and serve as regional cultural resources. The scenic area is located on the north side of the Jiujiang–Jingdezhen Expressway, making it highly accessible (just a 20-minute drive from the highway).
