Poyang Zhishan Park

Zhishan Park is located in the northern part of Poyang County. Originally called Tusu Mountain, during the Tang Dynasty, three lingzhi mushrooms were found growing on the mountain. The local magistrate falsely claimed they were from a "Lingzhi Mountain" when presenting them as tribute to the imperial court. Since then, Zhishan became widely renowned and developed into a famous tourist destination, with pavilions and towers being built one after another. The park features Poyang Tower and a martyrs' memorial monument, both worth visiting.
