The Sanding Ancestral Garden (a farm resort, hereinafter referred to as the "Sanding Ancestral Garden") in Shangrao County is a mountain villa characterized by ecological leisure, cultural entertainment, and recreation. Located to the south of Shangrao City, it boasts beautiful scenery, lush greenery all year round, birdsong, and fragrant flowers—creating an enchanting and pleasant environment. In 2012, the Sanding Ancestral Garden was rated as a three-star agritainment establishment by the Shangrao Municipal Tourism Bureau and successfully applied for recognition as a national AA-level tourist attraction. In the same year, the Ancestral Garden was approved by the Provincial Department of Culture as the Sanding Folk Museum.

Mr. Cai Fuwei, the owner of the Sanding Ancestral Garden, is the Executive Vice President of the Shangrao City Zhouyi Research Association and the seventh-generation inheritor of the renowned Form School of Feng Shui. With decades of experience in geomancy, he has been involved in planning and designing the 24-meter diameter Former and Later Heaven Bagua diagrams at the Jinsha Square in Mount Sanqingshan, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. He also participated in the planning of the groundbreaking ceremony for the Shangrao Xinjiang Hub Project, the renovation of the square, the reconstruction of the North Ring Road, and the selection of an auspicious date for the commencement of construction for the Fengze Pagoda in Da’ao Scenic Area.

The Sanding Ancestral Garden has built intelligent greenhouse sheds and steel-frame greenhouses, cultivating various off-season vegetables, ornamental fruits, rare potted plants, and flowers. The fishing center of the Sanding Ancestral Garden raises a variety of fish species. Visitors can watch the playful fish swimming and even try their hand at fishing. The fishing center is surrounded by fruit tree forests and lush green nursery gardens, featuring crops such as honey peaches, southern honey pears, Saiqing jujubes, loquats, and pomegranates, as well as ornamental plants like magnolia, red maple, osmanthus, evergreen osmanthus, camphor trees, and palms. The Sanding Ancestral Garden remains green all year round, and during summer and autumn, visitors can enjoy the bounty of fruits hanging from the branches and even pick them fresh. The orchard also raises free-range native chickens and ducks for visitors to observe and interact with, offering a taste of rural life.

The Sanding Ancestral Garden displays traditional farming tools such as water wheels, pestles, oil presses, and stone mills, as well as farming implements like straw raincoats, looms, bamboo baskets, and grain buckets.
