The Site of the Former National Assembly of China was the location of the first National Assembly after the establishment of the Republic of China. It is situated within the compound of Xinhua News Agency at No. 62 Tonglin Pavilion Road, Xicheng District, Beijing. It currently serves as a hall for Xinhua News Agency.

In April 1912, the Beijing Provisional Government of the Republic of China began planning the construction of the National Assembly and selected the former site of the Finance School as the location for the House of Representatives building. The House of Representatives consisted of eastern and western sections: the eastern part was a courtyard enclosed by existing structures from the Finance School, such as the I-shaped Building, Renyi Building, Lizhi Building, and Xinzi Study, along with connecting corridors; the western part was a newly built chamber for the House of Representatives, commonly referred to as the "National Assembly Hall." On April 8, 1913, the inaugural ceremony of the first National Assembly of the Republic of China was held here.

The "National Assembly Hall" is a square-shaped building facing south, with three stories. Its exterior is simple and constructed of gray bricks, and it remains well-preserved to this day. The main hall is square, with a podium located at the center of the northern wall. The seating in the hall is arranged in a fan shape, and there are spectator galleries on the east, west, and south sides of the upper floor.
