The Yuhu Scenic Area in Lichuan is located in Rifeng Town, Lichuan County. The water area of Yuhu spans 6,000 mu and belongs to Rifeng Town (the town where the county seat is located), approximately 17 kilometers from the county town. Connected to Hongmen Reservoir, the over 40,000-mu water surface is as clear as jade, vast and misty. Over 500 islands of various sizes are scattered across the lake, creating beautiful scenery. The islands are also home to tens of thousands of wild ducks, cormorants, egrets, and other waterfowl. Boating on the lake, you’ll see thousands of birds playing and foraging amid the picturesque landscape, with bird calls filling the air.
