No. 19, Lane 3, North Xisi Courtyard House is located on Lane 3, North Xisi, Xicheng District, and is a small traditional courtyard residence.
The main gate is situated at the southeast corner and is a single-room ruyi-style gate, adorned with brick carvings above the lintel. Inside the gate is a screen wall. The front courtyard, extending from the rear-facing rooms to the floral-pendant gate, is relatively small and rectangular in shape, known as the outer courtyard. The floral-pendant gate is one room wide and six rafters deep, featuring decorative elements such as carved flower screens, lattice panels, and lotus-petal pedestals. Passing through the floral-pendant gate leads to the inner courtyard, which contains three main northern rooms, each flanked by one side room, and three wing rooms on both the eastern and western sides. In 1987, it was designated as a protected area with defined construction control boundaries, with the protected zone covering the area of No. 19 courtyard. This property is currently in use as Xisi North Third Lane Kindergarten.
