In 2006, the National Cultural Heritage Administration listed the Yuan Blue-and-White Museum as a national key museum and a third-tier national museum. The architectural design of the Yuan Blue-and-White Museum incorporates the highly historical and cultural symbol of Yuan dynasty blue-and-white porcelain, making it a uniquely distinctive garden-style museum. The Yuan Blue-and-White Museum houses artifacts from four major kilns in China: the Jingdezhen Kiln of the Yuan dynasty, the Longquan Kiln in Zhejiang, the Jun Kiln in Henan, and the Cizhou Kiln in Shaanxi. Among them, the Yuan dynasty underglaze red and blue (underglaze colour) ware is an extremely rare top-tier piece from the Yuan period: the items are intact, large in size, diverse in type, elegantly shaped, and exquisitely crafted. The museum’s collection of Yuan dynasty blue-and-white underglaze red porcelain ranks third in the world among major museums and first in China. Its artistic value, rarity, and completeness make it an irreplaceable miracle.
