The Lanjiayuan Site

The Lanjiayuan Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

The Lanjiayuan Site is located in Jianshan Town, Gao’an City, dating back to the Shang and Western Zhou dynasties. In March 2018, it was designated as part of the sixth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units in Jiangxi Province.

Jianshan Town: Established as a town in 1985, Jianshan Town is located in the southwest of Gao’an City. It enjoys convenient transportation, situated 56 kilometers from the urban area and upstream on the Xiao River. Covering a total area of 112.6 square kilometers, it administers 12 village committees and 10 neighborhood committees, encompassing 138 natural villages. The total population is approximately 33,000, including 16,208 agricultural residents. In 2016, the gross regional product reached 4.288 billion yuan, with fiscal revenue of 101.1843 million yuan.
