The Nanshan Chu Family Ancestral Hall is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level in Gao’an City.

The Nanshan Chu Family Ancestral Hall is located in Huangshagang Town, Gao’an City, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

On December 24, 2012, the Gao’an Municipal People’s Government designated it as part of the fourth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units.

Huangshagang Town: With a long history, the town’s development can be traced back over 500 years. It has long been a bustling commercial hub and is one of the four major market towns in Gao’an. Located in the southern part of Gao’an City and situated along a key transportation route, Huangshagang is traversed by the Gao-Hu First-Class Highway and the Huang-Fu Highway. It is just 25 kilometers from the “Gan-Guang” and “Shanghai-Ruijiang” expressways, 13 kilometers from the Shanghai-Kunming High-Speed Railway, and serves as a necessary passage for nine southern townships of the city.
