The Longcheng New Western-Style Houses are located in Jianshan Town, Gao’an City, dating back to the Republican era.

On December 24, 2012, the People’s Government of Gao’an City designated them as part of the fourth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units.

Jianshan Town: Established as a town in 1985, Jianshan Town is located in the southwest of Gao’an City. It enjoys convenient transportation, lying 56 kilometers from the city center on the upper reaches of the Xiao River. Covering a total area of 112.6 square kilometers, it administers 12 village committees and 10 neighborhood committees, encompassing 138 natural villages. The town has a total population of approximately 33,000, including 16,208 agricultural residents. In 2016, the regional GDP reached 4.288 billion yuan, with fiscal revenue of 101.1843 million yuan.
