On December 24, 2012, the People's Government of Gao’an City designated it as part of the fourth batch of municipal-level cultural relics protection units.

Dacheng Town: Dacheng Town is situated east of Gao’an City, close to the western suburbs of Nanchang City. It is 21 kilometers from downtown Gao’an, 32 kilometers from Nanchang, 170 kilometers from Jiujiang Port, and 40 kilometers from Changbei Airport. The town covers an area of 144.47 square kilometers and governs 18 village (residential) committees, with a population of 22,000. The provincial-level development zone—Dacheng Development Zone (East Zone of New Century Industrial City)—is located within its jurisdiction.
