The Jia Family Ancient Village

The Jia Family Ancient Village is a cultural heritage protection unit of Gao'an City.

The Jia Family Ancient Village is located in Jiajia, Jingxian, Xinjie Town, Gao'an City, dating back to the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties.

The People's Government of Gao'an City designated it as part of the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units. In December 2006, the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government listed the Jia Clan Ancestral Hall, Cifu Hall, Yi'ai Hall, and Taisheng Hall as provincial-level cultural heritage protection units.

The area within 20 meters of the village is the protected zone, and the area within 100 meters is the construction control zone.

Xinjie Town: Located in the southern part of Gao'an City, Xinjie Town has a long history and convenient transportation. It covers a total area of 135.18 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over 14 village committees and 2 neighborhood committees, comprising 238 villager groups. In 2017, the town had a total of 13,079 households and a population of 41,321. It has 5,059.8 hectares of arable land, 4,267 hectares of forested land, and 836 hectares of water area, with a forest coverage rate of 31.6%. In 2017, the town achieved a total fiscal revenue of 81.2794 million yuan, ranking 10th in the city.
