Jiuxian Kiln Site

The Jiuxian Kiln Site is a protected cultural heritage site of Jiangxi Province.

The Jiuxian Kiln Site is situated on a hillside 100 meters northwest of Wangjiaduan in Jiuxian Village, Zaoxi Township, Fengxin County, spanning around 6,000 square meters. The cultural deposit layer is 1–1.5 meters thick, with many pottery fragments visible on the surface, such as kiln boxes, supporting pillars, ceramic plates, cups, and bowls. It mainly produced shadowy blue (yingqing) porcelain, featuring good clay quality and relatively bright glaze. In 1984, the Fengxin County People's Government designated the Jiuxian Kiln Site as a county-level key cultural heritage protection unit.

The Jiuxian Kiln Site is the only ancient kiln site remaining in our county, boasting rich historical and cultural heritage and significant cultural value.
