"Under the Bright Sun" Stone Carving
The "Under the Bright Sun" stone carving is located near Qingtan Village, Zaoxi Township, Fengxin County. On a massive granite cliff, the four characters "光天化日" (meaning "Under the Bright Sun") are carved in relief, each character one square meter in size. The base stone beneath the cliff face is inscribed in intaglio with the words "First Year of the Xianfeng Reign of the Great Qing" and other inscriptions.
