Wacheng Ruins

The Wacheng Ruins are located on a hill terrace 100 meters south of Wacheng Village, Dayangzhou Town, covering a total area of about 5,000 square meters. In 1983, the Xin Gan County Cultural Relics Survey Team conducted an investigation, and in 2014, the Jiangxi Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and the Xin Gan County Museum carried out a joint survey. Pottery shards, folded-shoulder jars, and other artifacts were collected. After identification by the Jiangxi Provincial cultural relics archaeology department, the Wacheng Ruins were determined to be a Western Zhou Dynasty site.

Dayangzhou Town: Dayangzhou Town is located in the northernmost part of Xin Gan County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province. It borders Taixi Township and Zhushan City's Dianxia Town to the east, Lijiang Town of the same county to the south, the Gan River to the west, and Yongtai Town of Zhushan City to the north, making it the northern gateway to Ji'an City. The town enjoys convenient transportation, with the Beijing-Kowloon Railway and National Highway 105 passing through its jurisdiction, along with the Gan River waterway forming an "H"-shaped layout across the area. In 2014, major projects such as the Dongchang Expressway, the Xin Gan Navigation-Power Hub on the Gan River, the Changji-Ganzhou High-Speed Railway, and the China Power Investment Wind Farm were successively constructed and implemented in the town.
