Kengkou Bridge

Kengkou Bridge is located in Kengkou Village, Jiebu Town. In the seventh year of the Tianqi era of the Ming Dynasty (1627), County Magistrate Zhou Wenyun and Prefect Xu Minggao successively renovated it. In the first year of the Chongzhen era (1628), Prefect Xu had the bridge reconstructed and built a pavilion at the bridgehead, naming it Pingzheng Pavilion. During the Shunzhi era of the Qing Dynasty (1644–1661), Magistrate Pan Ling rebuilt it. During the Qianlong era of the Qing Dynasty (1736–1795), Zhou Shangli renovated it. In the fourth year of the Daoguang era (1824), due to a sudden rise in river water, the bridge was washed away and was subsequently rebuilt as a stone arch bridge. In the 24th year of the Daoguang era (1844), the bridge was again destroyed by flooding, and Yang Chuiliu from the village rebuilt the bridge deck and added two stone piers at both ends. In the seventh year of the Xianfeng era (1857), Du Fuqing renovated the bridge deck, laying it with rectangular stone slabs. The current bridge is 26 meters long and 4 meters wide, running from north to south. It has historically been the essential route from Jiebu to Hepu and Sanhu.

In 1984, it was designated as a county-level key cultural relics protection unit by the People's Government of Xingan County.
