The Site of Yiyang City is a cultural relic protection unit of Hebei Province.

The Site of Yiyang City is located in Xiyangcheng Village, Yongnian County, on the north bank of the Zhang River, adjacent to Guangzong, Julu, and Linzhang.

It faces nearby landmarks, covering an area of about 10 square kilometers, with fairly distinct rammed earth walls around the city. Legend says there was a "Forbidden City" at the southwest corner, and areas designated for military training were located in the northeast part of the city.

Records of the Grand Historian: The House of Zhao states that in the first year of King Wuling of Zhao, “King Xiang of Liang, his Crown Prince Si, King Xuan of Han, and his Crown Prince Cang came to pay homage at the Palace of Xinfu.” The Commentary (Zhengyi) explains that the Palace of Xinfu was located in “the territory of Yiyang County, built in the 24th year of King Xiaocheng of Zhao (242 BC), and was used for royal audiences.” Remains such as rammed earth foundations, tiles, and pottery shards from the Warring States period have been discovered within the site.
