The bloggers brought their scholarly insight and literary talent into full play, producing a continuous stream of brilliant blog posts. Their unique travel experiences and captivating writings also served as windows for netizens to learn more about Taibai Mountain.
When visiting the “Iron Wall” scenic spot on Taibai Mountain, the renowned Peking University professor Kong Qingdong remarked, “The people, the people are the true iron wall!”
Blogger @Xiaoxiaoke couldn’t help but post on Weibo: “Taibai Mountain, so high and so steep. Formed through millennia, it’s a wonder passed down through time. Swordsmen and salt merchants once turned back, while the Poet Immortal left behind sighs in verse. Shu people looked north toward the chaos of Chang’an, while Qin troops climbed paths no ants could traverse. Thirty years ago, I was a student, taking five days and four nights to return. Going up, I rejoiced in my pot and shovel; returning, I lamented losing my clothes and hat. Today, I climb Taibai Peak once more, only to see spring colors blanketing the mountains. The cable car takes me straight to Xiabansi, and I reach out as if to pluck a red azalea. Though I may not reach the Peak of the Immortals or Lake Dayea, my heart’s wish is fulfilled: let the beauty remain for future generations, every day, year after year!”
During the event, a symposium titled “Talking About Taibai Mountain” was held.
