The Suspended Plank Walkway of Yangshimu

The suspended plank walkway in the Yangshimu Scenic Area is truly remarkable, offering panoramic views of hundreds of square miles of granite peak forest landforms. Built atop seemingly bottomless cliffs and precipices, the walkway winds along with the mountain’s contours, revealing towering peaks and sheer rock faces at every turn. The most perilous sections are often constructed over deep valleys and yawning chasms, where the path narrows to a width barely allowing one person to pass.
