Tangxiayuan Mingjitang

Tangxiayuan Mingjitang is a cultural heritage protection unit of Anfu County.

Tangxiayuan Mingjitang is located in Xinying Village, Zhouhu Town, Anfu County.

In March 2011, it was announced as part of the fourth batch of cultural heritage protection units in Anfu County. (Anfu Government Document [2011] No. 29)

Protected area: 10 meters around the heritage site in all directions.

Construction control zone: an additional 10 meters extending outward from the protected area in all directions.

Zhouhu Town: a town under the jurisdiction of Anfu County. It is a key southern town in Anfu and a major producer of commercial grain. In 1950, it consisted of 10 townships including Zhouhu, Wangtun, and Baizhang; in 1958, these were merged to form Zhouhu Commune; in 1984, it became Zhouhu Township; and in 1992, it was established as Zhouhu Town. Located in the southern part of the county, the town government is seated in Zhouhu. It is 29 kilometers from the county seat, covers an area of 180 square kilometers, and has a population of 37,000. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, it has flat farmland to the east. The Chenhe River, as well as the Fen (Yi)–Wen (Zhu) Railway and the An (Fu)–Yong (Xin) Provincial Highway, pass through the town area.
