Kuiguang Hall

Kuiguang Hall is a cultural heritage protection unit of Anfu County.

Kuiguang Hall is located in Tangbian Village, Zhouhu Town, Anfu County.

In March 2011, it was designated as part of the fourth batch of cultural heritage protection units in Anfu County. (Anfu Government Document [2011] No. 29)

Protected area: 10 meters in all directions around the heritage site itself.

Construction control zone: an additional 10 meters extending outward from the protected area in all directions.

Tangbian Village: Tangbian Village is the foremost of the four ancient villages in Zhouhu Town, Anfu County. With a long history, vast area, beautiful environment, and a legacy of producing talented individuals, historical records describe it as “a lineage known for scholarship and Confucian studies, with generations of officials and scholarly honors, flourishing nobility through the ages, making it a prominent family in the region.” Since its establishment in the late Tang Dynasty, the clan has thrived, engaging in farming, scholarship, and commerce. The saying “An umbrella from an old villager of Tangbian can turn one into a boss abroad” has been passed down to this day.

During the second national cultural relics survey in the 1980s, the village’s key traditional buildings were registered as a group.
