The Ancestral Hall of the Liao Clan in Shenxi is a cultural heritage protection unit of Anfu County.

The Ancestral Hall of the Liao Clan in Shenxi is located in Shenxi Village, Zhouhu Town, Anfu County.

In March 2011, it was designated as part of the fourth batch of cultural heritage protection units in Anfu County. (Document No. Anfu Fu [2011] 29)

Protected area: 10 meters in all directions around the heritage site.

Construction control zone: an additional 10 meters extending outward from the protected area boundary.

Zhouhu Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Anfu County. It is a key town in southern Anfu and a major grain-producing area. In 1950, it comprised ten townships including Zhouhu, Wangtun, and Baizhang. In 1958, these were merged to form the Zhouhu Commune, which was restructured as a township in 1984 and upgraded to Zhouhu Town in 1992. Located in the southern part of the county, the town government is seated in Zhouhu. It is 29 kilometers from the county seat, covers an area of 180 square kilometers, and has a population of 37,000. The town is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with plains to the east. The Chenhe River, as well as the Fen-Yi (Fenyi)–Wen-Zhu (Wenzhu) Railway and the provincial road from Anfu to Yongxin, pass through the town.
