Zhouli Chastity and Filial Piety Archway

The Zhouli Chastity and Filial Piety Archway is a cultural heritage protection unit of Anfu County.

The Zhouli Chastity and Filial Piety Archway is located in Zhouli Village, Henglong Town, Anfu County.

In March 2011, it was designated as part of the fourth batch of cultural heritage protection units in Anfu County. (Anfu Government Document [2011] No. 29)

Protected area: 10 meters in all directions around the structure itself.

Construction control zone: an additional 10 meters extending outward from the protected area.

Henglong Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Anfu County and an important grain-producing area. In 1949, it consisted of Henglong and Guanjia townships. In 1958, they merged to form Henglong Commune, which was incorporated into Pingdu Commune in 1968. Henglong Commune was re-established in 1972, restructured as a township in 1984, and upgraded to a town in 1993. Located in the western part of the county, the town government is seated at Guanwang Temple. It is 5 kilometers from the county seat, covers an area of 136.8 square kilometers, and has a population of 20,000. Mountains lie to the north and south, with the middle section being an alluvial plain of the Lushui River.
