Cangxiawell

Cangxiawell is a cultural heritage protection unit of Anfu County.

Cangxiawell is located in Sanshe Village, Ganluo Township, Anfu County.

In May 2002, it was designated as part of the third batch of cultural heritage protection units in Anfu County. (Anfu Government Document [2002] No. 33)

Protected area: 5 meters in all directions around the heritage site.

Construction control zone: an additional 10 meters extending outward from the protected area in all directions.

Sanshe Village: Also known historically as Shangjing, Sanshe Village is located within Anfu County, Jiangxi Province, boasting a history of over 1,000 years. It currently has more than 360 households and a population of around 1,700. Due to its remote location and limited transportation, Sanshe Village has remained largely untouched, preserving many precious cultural relics. The village is home to the Bangbo Archway and the Tomb of Liu Duo, both designated as county-level key cultural heritage protection units by the Anfu County People’s Government. The village’s weathered houses have also been recognized as provincial-level key cultural heritage protection units.

To the south of the village lies Xian’e Peak, extending from the Gaotou Mountain range, just a stone’s throw away. The area is crisscrossed with murmuring streams, surrounded by majestic peaks, and boasts simple local customs and numerous ancestral halls... More details about Sanshe Village++
