The former residence of Wang Zaoshi is a cultural heritage protection unit of Anfu County.

The former residence of Wang Zaoshi is located in Jiangnan Village, Pingdu Town, Anfu County.

In March 2011, it was designated as part of the fourth batch of cultural heritage protection units in Anfu County. (Anfu Government Document [2011] No. 29)

Protected area: 10 meters around the heritage site in all directions.

Construction control zone: an additional 10 meters extending outward from the protected area in all directions.

Pingdu Town: Pingdu Town is the county seat of Anfu County and serves as the political, economic, and cultural center of the entire county. The town covers a total area of 78.2 square kilometers, with 28,725 mu of cultivated land, 53,100 mu of forested area, and a population of 76,000. It administers 19 administrative villages, 155 villager groups, and 142 natural villages. The town is home to historical sites and scenic spots such as the Confucius Temple, Dongshan Literary Pagoda, Dongyuan Pavilion, and Lianfang Nunnery. Since ancient times, it has been a place of talent, producing historical figures such as Wang Ting, Wang Gui, Ouyang Bijin, and Wang Zaoshi.
