Hebeipu Jinshi Mansion

Hebeipu Jinshi Mansion is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Hebei Province.

Hebeipu Jinshi Mansion is located in ?che Township, Yongnian District. Constructed between the 15th year (1835) and the 25th year (1845) of the Daoguang reign during the Qing Dynasty, it was the residence of Zhao Shide, a progressive figure in the late Qing period.

The Hebeipu Jinshi Mansion faces south and covers an area of approximately 21,000 square meters, consisting of five courtyards along three lanes—east, middle, and west. Each courtyard is composed of three connected compounds, each featuring its own gatehouse, main house, and wing rooms. The central axes of the courtyards are interconnected and linked to the lanes. Currently, two flat-roofed two-story buildings, one single-eave flush-gable lean-to-style tiled building, and one single-eave flush-gable tiled two-story building remain.

The Hebeipu Jinshi Mansion boasts a grand architectural scale, clear layout, and exquisite craftsmanship, providing important physical material for the study of residential architecture in southern Hebei in terms of layout, structure, techniques, and construction methods.
