Nanjing Hot Spring Resort

The Reshuihu Hot Spring in Nanjing Town was formed in a low-mountain and hilly depression on the western side of the Jiulian Mountain Range in the Nanling Mountains. It lies between the national nature reserves of Jiulian Mountain and Chebaling, featuring a tectonic erosion landform with undulating terrain and continuous mountain ranges. The area has a mid-subtropical monsoon humid climate, with no intense heat in summer and no severe cold in winter. The hot spring has the following characteristics: large water volume, with extractable water exceeding 700 m³/day, or 0.194 m³/second; high temperature, averaging 62°C, with a maximum of up to 80°C. The hot spring is located in Reshui Village, Nanjing Town, 13 kilometers from the county seat, and 260 km, 142 km, and 380 km from Guangzhou, Shaoguan, and Shenzhen respectively. It is connected by secondary-level or higher roads throughout, offering extremely convenient transportation. At the same time, it is close to developed coastal cities, ensuring a rich source of visitors. The Reshuihu Hot Spring currently hosts nearly 16 hotels (villas), including the Hot Spring Hotel, Jinsui Hotel, and Xinghua Village Hotel. A planned hot spring town is under development, and a new hot spring-themed destination is gradually emerging.
