Former Site of the General Headquarters of the Shanshi Peasant Uprising

The Former Site of the General Headquarters of the Shanshi Peasant Uprising is a Jiangxi Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Unit and a classic red tourism attraction.

The Former Site of the General Headquarters of the Shanshi Peasant Uprising dates back to 1930 and is located in Shanshi Village, Longxiang Township, Quannan County.

On December 4, 2018, the Former Site of the General Headquarters of the Shanshi Peasant Uprising was designated as part of the third batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Quannan County.

Protected area: 2 meters outward from the drip line of the main entrance on the northeast side of the site; the southeast and southwest sides are bounded by the drip line, and the northwest side is bounded by the drip line of the lower hall of the site.

Construction control zone: 3 meters outward from the protected area on the northeast side of the site; the southeast, southwest, and northwest sides overlap with the protected area, with a construction control height of 7 meters.

Shanshi Village: Shanshi Village is located at the northwest end of Longxiang Township. It borders Shejing Township and Chongxian Township of Xinfeng County to the north, and connects to Hetian Village of Longxiang Township to the south. It is 18 kilometers from National Highway 105 and 22 kilometers from Shejing Township. The village has 8 villager groups: under the Pear Tree, Daying, Xiaying, Cai Zi Shan, Dui Wan Zi, Zhu Qiu Keng, Ya Shan, and Long Zi Tou. The village has a total of 219 households and a population of 632, including 27 registered impoverished households with 59 people. There are 25 Communist Party members, including 2 female party members.
