The Site of the Shangjiao Defense Battle is a cultural heritage site under the protection of Quannan County and a classic red tourism attraction.

The Site of the Shangjiao Defense Battle dates back to 1948 and is located at Yongshengwei in Shangyao Village, Longyuanba Town, Quannan County.

On December 4, 2018, the Site of the Shangjiao Defense Battle was designated as part of the third batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Quannan County.

Protected area: an extension of 5 meters outward from the east, south, west, and north sides of the site.

Construction control zone: the area extending 3 meters outward from the protected area on the east, south, west, and north sides, with a construction control height limit of 3 meters.

Longyuanba Town: Located in the northern part of Quannan County, about 30 kilometers from the county seat, Longyuanba Town borders Chengjiang Town in Shixing County, Guangdong Province, Zhutian Town and Jiangtou Town in Nanxiong City, Guangdong Province. At the end of 2001, it was formed through the merger of the former Longyuanba Township and Zhaixia Township. It administers 8 administrative villages, 113 village groups, covers a land area of 262.80 square kilometers, including 11,540 mu of arable land and 156,300 mu of forested land.
