The Site of the Founding of the CPC Xinnan County Committee is a cultural heritage preservation site in Quannan County and a classic red tourism destination.

The Site of the Founding of the CPC Xinnan County Committee dates back to 1936 and is located at Shizi Subarea, Neiban Village, Shejing Township, Quannan County.

On December 4, 2018, it was designated as part of the third batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Quannan County.

Protected area: an extension of 5 meters outward in all directions—east, south, west, and north.

Construction control zone: an extension of 5 meters outward in all directions—east, south, west, and north—from the protected area, with a construction control height limit of 8 meters.

Shejing Township: Situated at the northernmost tip of Quannan County, Shejing Township borders Nanxiong in Guangdong to the north, Chongxian Township of Xinfeng County, Paitou Town, and Longxiatown within the county. It lies at the confluence of the Huangtian River and Taojiang River systems and is also the lowest-altitude area in the entire county. The township is 65 kilometers from the county seat. In 2001, following the consolidation of townships (and towns), the former Shangjiang Township and Shejing Township were merged into the present Shejing Township. The township now covers a total area of 120 square kilometers, including 160,000 mu of forested land and 10,752 mu of arable land.
