The Former Site of the Longyuanba Public Security Committee dates back to 1949 and is located in the town center of Longyuanba, Quannan County.

On December 4, 2018, the Former Site of the Longyuanba Public Security Committee was designated as part of the third batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Quannan County.

Protected area: the main gate to the southeast and the exterior wall to the southwest extend 1 meter outward to adjacent residential buildings; the protected areas to the northeast and northwest are bounded by existing walls.

Construction control zone: overlaps with the protected area on the east, south, west, and north sides, with a construction control height limit of 8 meters.

Longyuanba Town: Located in the northern part of Quannan County, Longyuanba Town is 30 kilometers from the county seat and borders Chengjiang Town of Shixing County, Guangdong Province, Zhutian Town and Jiangtou Town of Nanxiong City, Guangdong Province. It was formed in late 2001 through the merger of the former Longyuanba Township and Zhaixia Township, governing 8 administrative villages, 113 village groups, covering a land area of 262.80 square kilometers, including 11,540 mu of arable land and 156,300 mu of forested land.
