Longnan Taiping Bridge

Longnan Taiping Bridge is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Taiping Bridge is located on the Taiping River about three li north of Yangcun Street. It is a two-bay, three-pier, four-arch double-layer overlapping stone arch bridge. The bridge was rebuilt during the Jiaqing to Daoguang reigns of the Qing Dynasty, and its main structure remains well-preserved. The reconstructed Taiping Bridge features a unique design and exquisite craftsmanship. Its four arches overlap in a combination of brick-wood and brick-stone double-layer structures, with a total length of 50 meters, a width of 4 meters, and an overall height of 17.2 meters. The lower layer has two bays and three piers, constructed from finely polished granite using a mortar made of tung oil, lime, brown sugar, and glutinous rice paste, all meticulously laid.

Transportation: It is 5 kilometers from Longnan County Town. You can take a taxi there, with a starting fare of 3 yuan.
