The Jade Rock Cliff Inscriptions are a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

The Jade Rock Cliff Inscriptions date back to 1518, when Wang Yangming, the then Grand Coordinator of Jiangxi during the Ming Dynasty, personally inscribed five seven-character regulated poems in regular script on the cliff face, pioneering the tradition of cliff carvings here. Over time, later generations added 43 more stone inscriptions. Rich in content, exquisitely written, and remarkably well-preserved, these inscriptions have been designated as a Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit of Jiangxi Province.

The Jade Rock Cliff Inscriptions are located in Jinggang Village, Longnan Town, north of Longnan County. Since 1518, when Wang Yangming, the then Grand Coordinator of Jiangxi during the Ming Dynasty, personally inscribed five seven-character regulated poems in regular script on the cliff face, pioneering the tradition of cliff carvings here, later generations have added 43 more stone inscriptions. Due to the large number of carvings, rich content, exquisite calligraphy, and excellent preservation, the Jade Rock area was designated as a Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit of Jiangxi Province in 1987.
