The Site of the Ruijin Communication Agency is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Red China News Agency, abbreviated as "Hongzhong She," was the predecessor of Xinhua News Agency. It was established in November 1931 during the First National Soviet Congress held in Yeping, Ruijin. During the congress, it began broadcasting news about the "First Soviet Congress" both domestically and internationally via radio. "This was the first time our Party broke through the enemy's iron wall to spread the good news of victory to the people across the nation." Subsequently, the Red China Broadcasting Station was also established.

Hongzhong She was the first communication organization created by our Party in the revolutionary base area and was a communication unit directly under the Provisional Central Government. In 1994 and 2000, Xinhua News Agency allocated special funds on two separate occasions. Xinhua Youth League sent specialists to Ruijin to carry out comprehensive renovations of the site in accordance with the principle of "restoring the old as the old." Original and supplementary exhibits were also set up inside the site. Since its opening, the site has received a total of 1.5 million visitors from home and abroad. The Xinhua Youth League organizes its members and young employees to visit and study in Ruijin every year to receive revolutionary tradition education.
