Chen Shi Lake Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic area.

Chen Shi Lake Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in Ruijin City. Built around the Ridong Reservoir and Chenshi Reservoir, the scenic area covers an area of 51.42 square kilometers, including 4.96 square kilometers of water surface, making it a reservoir-type water conservancy scenic area.

The Ridong Reservoir is located at the very upper reaches of the Mianjiang River, a tributary of the Gongjiang River in the Gan River system, with a total storage capacity of 67 million cubic meters. It is a medium-sized reservoir primarily used for flood control and irrigation. The Chenshi Reservoir is situated downstream of the Ridong Reservoir, with a total storage capacity of 8.77 million cubic meters. To strengthen the management of water resources and environmental protection within the scenic area, the management authority has established a long-term mechanism for protecting public welfare forests, implementing a zero-logging policy in the protected zones. This has facilitated the transition from a timber forest farm to an ecological forest farm, effectively conserving water sources. Regular special actions are organized to improve water environment quality, and water quality in the scenic area is monitored, maintaining a Class II standard. The Luohan Rock within the scenic area is renowned for its danxia landform, featuring prominent geological landscapes such as isolated peaks, steep cliffs, and precipices.
